We hope to see you next year at ADASS XXV in Sydney, Australia (25 -30 October 2015). For more information please visit here.
Mark your calendars for the 24th annual conference on Astronomical Data Analysis Software and Systems (ADASS,http://adass.org). The conference will be held from 5-9 October 2014 at the Westin Hotel in Calgary, Canada.
This annual conference, held in a different location each year, is a forum for scientists, developers and programmers working in areas related to algorithms, software and systems for the acquisition, reduction, analysis, and dissemination of astronomical data.
Calgary is Canada's 4th largest metropolitan centre located in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. The University of Calgary is a major Canadian centre for radio astronomy in Canada and has close association with the National Research Council of Canada's Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory in Penticton. Calgary is a focus for Canadian participation in the Square Kilometre Array project, and development of cyber infrastructure for data intensive radio astronomy en route to the SKA.

The ADASS XXIV program will include invited talks, contributed papers, display sessions, tutorials, computer demonstrations, and special interest ("Birds of a Feather" or BoF) meetings. Please arrive by Saturday (Oct. 4) evening and join us for the Welcome Cocktail Reception. The meeting starts on Sunday (Oct. 5) with registration and talks, and concludes on Thursday (Oct. 9) with a Workshop on cloud technology solutions and OpenStack - the open source computing platform. These activities aim to encourage communication between software specialists and scientists, and to stimulate further development of software and systems to meet the data science challenges of astronomy.
General inquiries can be sent to email@example.com
The list of invited speakers and their abstracts can be found here.
Please note that the International Virtual Observatory Alliance conference will be held after ADASS XXIV a short distance away in Banff, Alberta.
